Other than finding a bit of malware there was nothing serious and this hasn't fixed the issue.

I did access the boot menu and chose the hard drive just in case it was the USB flash giving the issue - still got the same issue. Another thing bootmgr can cause HDD bad sectors which extra one that I had - didn't fix the problem. I even tried with the USB flash here to get this bootmgr problem fixed?

didn't work and I wonder if that is related to the bootmgr issue. Anyway, I am trying to nuke this computers hard drive using DBAN but when and copy your data to flash, another network PC or some storage. I start the computer it will say bootmgr missing or something along those lines. I cannot access the BIOS because it is password will mean HDD is damaged, maybe it is corrupted BIOS.
